Her passion for dance began when she was only six years old, since then she has not stopped dancing. Rhythmic gymnastics, ballet, jazz and contemporary were some important disciplines before entering the world of Latin dance. Laia fell in love with bachata at her first social and until then she has not stopped training to get to where she is. Little by little she has been growing in the city of Barcelona as a dancer and has participated in important events in the area. Her main training as a bachata instructor is recognized by the teacher mentoring of smooth bachata by Pablo and Raquel. Currently Laia belongs to the renowned dance company Doble Filo by Noelia Otero and they have been champions of several international competitions, in 2023 they were third in the Team Shines Bachata Ladies category in the Eroson Latino world competition, Mexico. His work as a couple this last year has allowed him to travel around Europe taking his teaching and his bachata performance to other countries such as Hamburg, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and France. Laia does not lose focus on continuing to enhance her dance and grow around the world with the desire to teach and inspire many more people.
