Dance Competition

Baychata Festival will be hosting its first annual dance competition on July 14th, 2024. Come with your dance partner and sign-up for a chance to win top prizes amounting to over $1000 cash value and bragging rights. First Place winners will be inducted into the Hall-of-Fame and their names will be engraved on the Baychata Festival Hall of Fame Plaque. For more details, see the rules below.

Rules

Entry Qualifications: All dancers are eligible except for Baychata Artists or Baychata staff
Time of dance competition: Sunday July 14th, 8:00-9:00 pm
Entry Fee: $20/person. Must have a partner to sign up. Message event organizer to announce your partner.
Criteria for Judging: The judges will select winners based on musicality, body movement, and connection.
Several rounds will be performed to select who advances
Prizes: $400 cash and Medals (1st place), 2 Full Passes for Baychata Festival 2025 (2nd place), 2 VIP upgrades (3rd place)
