Yernan Flores

ARTIST

Yernan has been passionate about dance and movement since childhood. In 2012, he began teaching himself to dance by studying online videos. His journey took a significant leap forward when he connected with MetaMovements, allowing him to grow both as a dancer and instructor.

His diverse dance career includes selling original choreographies, teaching at the Bachatu Dance Festival, and instructing at the Camelot Dance Center in Las Terrenas. He has also performed in an anniversary dance show for an international consulate, taught dance on a reality TV show, and was selected for a MetaMovements cultural exchange trip to Cuba, where he immersed himself in Cuban dance styles.

Beyond dance, Yernan has experience as a DJ, music editor, and acrobatics trainee, and he holds certifications in bartending, phone repair, and computer science. However, his true passion remains in dance. He values the connections he has made through dance, cherishing the opportunity to share his Dominican culture while learning from others.

As an instructor, Yernan focuses on helping students refine their technique while ensuring they feel comfortable and happy on the dance floor. He specializes in both traditional and sensual bachata and is currently teaching at La Raza dance studio.
